If you are looking for the perfect family size SUV that can carry all your camping gear, plus tow a boat or trailers, the 2021 Toyota Highlander is your best bet. While not yet available, the 2021 Toyota Highlander is expected to make some pretty exciting changes for its newest offering. While there’s still a lot we don’t know for sure, spy reports and expert speculations are suggesting the 2021 Toyota Highlander to be something very special. If you are interested in the 2021 Toyota Highlander, read on to learn more about the latest news.

On the outside, not much is expected to change, but the inside is a whole other story. The exterior will sport a modern, sporty appearance currently offered by the current year’s model. With this appearance, Toyota found much success, so there’s not really any reason for a change. There have been some suggestions of new color options that may be available for 2021. And although drivers should expect any drastic changes to the interior, there should be some notable improvements such as an updated infotainment system, new upholstery colors and material options, and even better sound-proofing to reduce car noises and outside noises for a more peaceful drive.

As for powertrain options, drivers can expect a few different options to whet their appetite for power. The 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine can generate up to 185 horsepower and 187 lb-ft of torque. While this should satisfy most drivers, though with great towing needs will prefer the 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates 295 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque. That same engine will be featured in the hybrid model but when paired with an electric motor, should deliver up to 306 horsepower. Four-cylinder engine models will be paired most likely with a six-speed automatic transmission, while V6 engine models should be paired with an eight-speed as they are with the current-year models. Safety should also be top-notch if the current year is anything to go by as it has performed remarkably well in all crash tests. On top of that, it offers terrific safety features like adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and lane keeping assist.

As for the release of the 2022 Toyota Highlander, reports are suggesting a date later this fall. Pricing should be similar to the 2021 model at around $32,000 for the base model or up to $49,000 for the higher-end options. Seating up to eight passengers, the Highlander is a terrific option for large families. And with likely six trim levels to choose from, you can find a Toyota Highlander model that is the perfect fit for your family. If you don’t currently own a Highlander, the 2021 model should impress most buyers, but if you do have a current model, there may not be enough reason to upgrade until the inevitable redesign in a couple of years’ time. Until then, keep your ears open for more news later down the line.

Current Offers And Incentives

Now let’s get down to brass tacks. Currently, Toyota is offering some great incentives. All Highlanders customers can get up to $600 complimentary to put towards their first month’s payment. Customers can also get $1,500 Customer Cash on all trim models or finance at 1.9% APR for 60 months. For those looking to lease, there are some great deals too.
